Hola! I’m Jocelyn Sencion, a proud Latina born and raised in San José.
As a teen I battled razor burn and knew there had to be a kinder route to silky-smooth skin. That curiosity sent me to the Esthetics Program at San José City College, where I graduated and earned my California license in 2020. From day one I fell in love with the science of skin care and the confidence a great wax gives my clients.
PureWax & Beauty opened its doors in 2023.
I transformed a cozy San José studio into a judgment-free haven that uses only soft wax, cruelty-free products, and hospital-grade sanitation. From Brazilians to brows, every service is unrushed and personalized so you leave smooth, confident, and cared for—just as I envisioned the day I hung the PureWax sign.
